Arlington Youth Lacrosse Club (AYLC) Scoopers Fall 2026 Registration Launch
Is your 4–7-year-old curious about lacrosse? This is the perfect place to start!
Whether your child is picking up a lacrosse stick for the very first time or enjoyed Scoopers last season and is ready to come back, our AYLC Scoopers program is designed to introduce Arlington’s youngest players to the game in a fun, welcoming, and age-appropriate environment.
No prior lacrosse experience is necessary. Beginners are encouraged to join! REGISTER HERE
What Can Your Child Expect?
Scoopers focuses on the fundamentals of lacrosse while helping young players build confidence, coordination, and teamwork.
Each session will include simple, age-appropriate activities focused on:
Catching and throwing
Ground balls
Cradling and stick skills
Basic defensive concepts
Following directions
Teamwork and sportsmanship
Most importantly—having fun!
Activities are non-contact and designed specifically for young players. Our goal isn’t to turn your new player into a lacrosse star overnight, it’s to help them discover the game, make friends, and leave each Sunday excited to come back.

- A water bottle
We strongly recommend labeling all equipment with your child’s name and a parent/guardian’s phone number.
What Should They Wear?
No uniform is required.
Scoopers will be assigned a team color. Wearing a T-shirt in that color is encouraged but completely optional.
Comfortable athletic clothing and athletic shoes are perfect.
Cost
$150 for the five-week program
New to Lacrosse? You’re in the Right Place.
If you’ve been wondering whether lacrosse is right for your child, Scoopers is a great way to find out without a big commitment.
Your child doesn’t need to know how to throw, catch, cradle, or even hold a lacrosse stick correctly on day one. We’ll teach them the basics, meet them where they are, and help them build skills and confidence along the way.
Come give lacrosse a try—we’d love to have your family join the AYLC community!
If you have friends with children that are looking to try something new, feel free to forward them this email to get them connected with AYLC.
Questions? Please don’t hesitate to reach out to aylcoperations@gmail.com! We look forward to seeing all of our Scoopers on the field!
